About the Human Benchmark Leaderboard
The Human Benchmark leaderboard ranks real scores submitted by players around the world across every cognitive test on this site. Pick a test above to see the fastest reaction times, the highest memory levels, and the top performers by country. Rankings update continuously as new scores come in.
Each test has its own leaderboard. For speed-based tests like Reaction Time and Aim Trainer, a lower score (in milliseconds) is better. For memory and skill tests like Number Memory, Sequence Memory, Verbal Memory, Visual Memory, and Chimp Test, a higher score is better. You can filter any leaderboard by country to see how you rank locally, or view the global standings.
To appear on the leaderboard, take any test, then submit your score with a username and country when prompted. Your entry is ranked instantly against everyone else, and you can see your global rank, your country rank, and the percentile you land in.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a good reaction time?
- For most people, a typical reaction time falls between 200 and 270 milliseconds. Anything under 200 ms is fast, and the top players on the leaderboard consistently score below 180 ms.
- How are the rankings calculated?
- Rankings are based on the best submitted score per player for each test, ordered so the strongest result sits at the top. Speed tests rank fastest-first; memory and skill tests rank highest-first.
- Can I see rankings for my country?
- Yes. Use the country filter on any leaderboard to switch from the global view to your country, and see how your score compares with other players from the same place.
